Yesterday, 13.10.2020, the NOx fund revised its support program on fleet-renewal.
It is now possible to receive support of up to NOK 50 million. Pr. ship.

➡️ The purpose of the support program is to help older ships, which would otherwise have continued with high taxable NOx emissions, to be replaced by new ships with low NOx emissions.
(Tier III or better)
➡️ The support is given as a fixed sum.
The scope of support is at least 5 mill. NOK per newbuilding, provided that outgoing vessels are considered to have a NOx taxable reference emission of at least 15 tonnes.
Support – up to DKK 50 million – is assessed depending on the size of the emission reduction that the renewal represents.
